Spicy Garlic Cauliflower Bites
I could easily eat Buffalo Wild Wings every night of the week! Now although my appetite would appreciate the over-indulging, my ass and thighs would not! So to have my wings and eat them too, I tried this vegetarian alternative! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the taste and texture was no different than boneless wings! I made mine spicy garlic flavored since that’s my favorite wing sauce, but I can’t wait to try out other combinations as well!
…..
Ingredients:
1 head of cauliflower, washed, and broken down into bite sized pieces
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup water
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp wing sauce or hot sauce
For sauce:
¼ cup wing sauce or hot sauce
¼ cup olive oil
½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 450 degrees, cover a large baking sheet with foil, and then coat in a thin layer of butter.
Mix flour, water, garlic powder, and 1 ½ tsp of wing sauce in a small bowl.
Dip pieces of cauliflower into batter mixture until evenly coated and then place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until batter hardens.
While waiting for cauliflower to bake, mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
When batter is hardened, remove from oven, and brush with sauce. Place back in the oven for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from oven, brush with any remaining sauce left, and serve! I like mine with ranch or honey mustard.
Enjoy!

These are SO delicious : ] When I make them, I use 2T of hot sauce in the batter though.. I read it wrong the first time (thought it said 1.5T, so I rounded up…) It is probably a little spicier, but so yummy! My husband is a big meat eater and usually won’t try this kind of stuff, but he requests them all the time!!

I’m always a fan of spicier! And it’s awesome to hear that you were able to get him to not only try, but enjoy these all the time!
