Valentine’s Day is next week and instead of going with the norm of making ‘Love-tinis’ or any other cheesy cocktail, I decided to spice things up! Red Hots are one of my favorite candies and there’s always a surplus of them this time of year. I infused Sailor Jerry Rum with the Red Hot candies to make a lusty libation that’s delicious enough to enjoy any time of year!

For Red Hot Infused Sailor Jerry Rum:
¾ cup Sailor Jerry Rum
1 Tbs Red Hot candies
Combine Sailor Jerry Rum and Red Hots in a small canning jar and place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Shake occasionally to dissolve Red Hots and mix flavors.
Once the Red Hots completely dissolve you can store at room temperature or in the refrigerator to keep chilled.
(makes 1 drink)
Ingredients:
2oz Red Hot Candy Infused Sailor Jerry Rum
2oz ginger ale, chilled
Splash of grenadine or maraschino cherry syrup
Garnish with maraschino cherries and a cinnamon stick

Pour Sailor Jerry Rum, ginger ale, and grenadine over ice. Garnish and serve!
