I think I’m going to declare this the Sailor Jerry Summer and it’s all starting with this cocktail! I put a fruity twist on the Jerry Ginger by adding freshly juiced pineapple to the mix. You can’t help but feel like a bit of a rebel for using your Jack LaLanne juicer that was purchased with the hopeful and naïve intentions of doing a natural juice fast, only to use it for delicious boozy beverages instead! And it’s no problem if you don’t own a juicer, you can always use store bought pineapple juice. Either way you’re going to wind up with one amazing cocktail!
…..
Ingredients:
2oz Sailor Jerry Rum
2oz pineapple juice
Juice from half a lime
1oz ginger beer
Ice
Pineapple or lime wedge for garnish
Combine Sailor Jerry Rum, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and shake to mix. Pour into an ice filled glass and top with ginger beer (feel free to add more for a stronger ginger flavor). Garnish and serve right away.
Enjoy responsibly!

Now that looks delicious! I’m not a huge fan of fruity cocktails (I’m a beer girl) but I think I could easily drink a couple of those, and I know my roommate would love it. I don’t know if I can get Sailor Jerry around here but I will have to look!
