Awhile back I came across a similar idea from a well-known clothing and decoration store.. we’ll just say they’re very “urban.” ; ) However, I just couldn’t justify spending $25 and shipping on something that I knew would be very easy and cheap to make myself!
…..
Time: 15 minutes
Cost: $15.06
Supplies:
2 faux flower bouquets at $1.79 a piece
4 glass bottles at $1.00 a piece
Jewelry wire at $1.49 (14 gauge x 3 yards)
Wire cutters at $5.99
I still have leftover wire and flowers that I can use to make another one for friends or family or use the supplies on another project!
What’s also great about this is that you can interchange the flowers and plants all year long! Fall leaves in Autumn, black roses for Halloween, sprigs of spruce, holly, and twigs in Winter, etc..
Start out by unraveling one end of the wire and twist around the neck of the bottle about 3 times. Leave yourself about 8-10 inches on the end so you can hang later.
Continue to the next bottle, spacing them anywhere from 8-10 inches apart. Once you have all of your bottles on, snip the remaining wire, again giving yourself extra wire to hang.
Tack up two nails, the width between them should be a few inches shorter than the total length of your garland. Twist a few inches of wire around the nails and snip off any extra you might have.
Clip a few stems of flowers from your bouquets to put in the bottles and you’re finished!
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute idea and also good to keep those nosy kitties from tipping over flower vases or eating them!
