Last week I started the process of infusing my own tequila and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The infusing process ended up being much quicker than I originally anticipated and the flavor was perfect! I’m not much a tequila person anymore, but I could honestly sip this straight! I created three margaritas with the tasty infusion and I honestly cannot pick a favorite! Try them out for yourself and decide on your favorite: pineapple, pomegranate, or the spicy Miss Marguerite! And if you haven’t started your infused tequila yet, you still have time! The process only took two days to reach the flavor I wanted, so head over to my Cilantro Jalapeño Infused Tequila post and get the instructions so yours is ready to go on Cinco de Mayo!
…..
Pineapple Margarita:
2oz pineapple juice
2oz cilantro jalapeño tequila
1oz triple sec
1oz fresh lime juice (juice from about 1 lime)
½ oz simple syrup – see my post here on how to make your own!
Fresh pineapple wedge for garnish
Coarsely ground salt for rim
…..
Pomegranate Margarita:
2oz pomegranate juice
2oz cilantro jalapeño tequila
1oz triple sec
1oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
Pomegranate seeds or lime wedge for garnish
Coarsely ground salt for rim
…..
Now for the drink that started it all! I love getting the Miss Marguerite from Delta Café with their cilantro infused tequila, so here’s my take on it with a bit of a kick!
Spicy Miss Marguerite:
2oz orange juice (pulp free)
2oz cilantro jalapeño tequila
1oz triple sec
1oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
Lime wedge and a sprig of fresh cilantro for garnish
Coarsely ground salt for rim
…..
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip in a shallow bowl filled with coarsely ground salt. Add each margarita’s ingredients into a separate glass, stir, and add ice. Garnish and serve!
Enjoy responsibly!

These look positively amazing! I adore tequila anyway and the pineapple sounds just to DIE for
