I haven’t put up a good smoothie recipe in a while and I figured those of you that had to endure a long winter could use something tropical! I used my favorite fruits to put together a refreshing and filling mix that’s both dairy and sugar-free, making this a GUILT-free treat to enjoy any time of the day!

(makes 2-3 smoothies)
Ingredients:
2 bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
1 mango, peeled, pitted, and diced
8-10 large strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 kiwis, peeled and diced
A handful of ice cubes
Slice up the bananas and freeze them the night before or at least 6-8 hours in advance. When ready place them and the mango in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a sealing container and place in the refrigerator or freezer to keep cold while you prep the second layer. Rinse out your blender or processor and towel dry. Place strawberries, kiwis, and ice in the processor and puree until smooth and you no longer hear ice chunks hitting the blades.
Spoon the banana mango layer into a glass until it’s about half full. Pour in the strawberry kiwi layer until full. Serve right away!
