Green Machine Juice
Between traveling last week, going out to eat with family and friends, and of course Valentine’s Day yesterday, I’ve been indulging quite a bit! To get back on track though, I’ll be doing a lot of meal replacements with juices and smoothies. For anyone new to juicing, the thought of juicing vegetables and even the color of the juice can send you running the other way! I used to be pretty skeptical myself, but it’s not bitter or bad tasting, quite the opposite in fact! Check out my secret ingredients to turn this primarily veggie juice into a sweet and healthy one!

Makes 2 glasses
Ingredients:
2 large leaves of kale, stock included
2 celery sticks
2 kiwis
2 green apples
1 cucumber
The green apples and kiwis completely disguise the other ingredients, making this juice sweet and refreshing! Prepare fruits and vegetables according to your juicer’s instructions and juice into a large cocktail shaker.
Add a handful of ice, shake well, and strain into two glasses. Serve right away.
