I thought that I might take today to relax, get caught up on emails and blogs, and refuse to change into real pants… then I remembered that we decided to throw a Halloween party last minute! This is my favorite holiday and I seem to work well under pressure, so today I’m making it happen! Wish me luck!
Over the weekend I worked a couple of photo booth gigs at the Portland Art Museum. We were busy non-stop but managed to sneak in a few goofy shots of our own!
To unwind from the weekend I decided to get out the city for a bit and hike with a friend to Wahclella Falls. It was raining pretty good the whole time so I didn’t get as many photos in as I would have liked, but it also made me appreciate and enjoy every detail firsthand instead of flipping through photos of it later. All of the moss covered branches made the changing leaves stand out even more. I’ll definitely be investing in a nice rain jacket soon so I can continue to hike through the winter!
The husband makes his way back from Iowa to Oregon this evening and I couldn’t be more excited to see him! Not many people know, but our relationship started as a long distance one. Anytime we’re away from one another it reminds us of all the late night phone calls, Skype dates, and airport goodbyes we endured to be with one another. I think I’ll pick up our favorite beer and cook up a big meal to welcome him home.. any suggestions?

How will you be spending your Halloween weekend?

Nice pix, I love forest in the autumn! Not much planned here for Hallowwen weekend as we (unfortunately) don’t really celebrate it – but still some people in Paris’ streets were dressed up last night as I enjoyed

Oops! > a couple of Halloween drinks with friends outside of a bar (yes, warm weather, incredible). Hope to see how your last-minute Halloween party went! And good luck with your busy life!
