I’m not usually one to eat breakfast.. unless you count 3+ cups of coffee a breakfast, but one morning I felt inspired to whip up something quick and easy. The result was a delicious fall flavored smoothie! Packed full of protein and vitamins, this tasty smoothie is perfect for an on-the-go breakfast, mid-day snack, or post workout drink!

(makes 2 glasses)
Ingredients:
1 Granny Smith apple
1 large handful of fresh spinach
6oz vanilla yogurt
1 ½ tsp brown sugar or honey
1 tsp cinnamon (plus more for garnish)
¼ tsp nutmeg
A handful of ice

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth or until you no longer hear ice chunks hitting the blades.
Divide between two glasses, sprinkle a bit of extra cinnamon on top, and serve!
