I love Mules because they’re so simple to throw together, the variations are endless, and they’re always just crisp and refreshing with that bubbly ginger beer finish. I’ve seen a few variations of these Apple Cider Moscow Mules and planned to add pomegranate and all these other flavors, but honestly the plain Jane version is where it’s at. Just 4 ingredients and easy to double or triple the recipe when making this for a large group.
Apple Cider Moscow Mules
(makes 2 drinks)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup apple cider, chilled
3oz vodka, chilled
Juice from 1 lime
12oz (1 can) ginger beer
Ice
Cinnamon stick and apple slices for garnish
I did try one other variation of this using Italian soda in a green apple flavor and it was AWESOME! I just don’t know how easy it is for everyone to come by that in their local grocery store. If you do find it, give it a go and let me know which one ends up being your favorite!
Combine the apple cider, vodka, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and give it a few good shakes. Divide between two ice filled copper cups (I scored these from Dollar General for FIVE bucks!). Top with ginger beer, garnish, and serve!
Enjoy responsibly!
